After qualifying as
an accountant, Arthur started his career at Investec Bank. Within 6 months he
realized his passion was for property and resigned from the bank. Arthur Baron
Estates was formed in 1995 and was run from a single garage, with Arthur’s wife
Susan, as secretary & co-agent.
Arthur Baron Estates
soon became a household name in the area and he started selling houses like
hot-cakes. With Arthur’s dynamic personality and will to succeed, he outgrew
the garage and, with his mother, Madeleine, joining the Baron fold, they took
up offices in a local shopping Centre.
Arthur prides himself
on a level of service not usually delivered by an estate agent – one of
honesty, professionalism and going the extra mile for each and every client,
with continual feedback and excellent after-sales service. Arthur feels
advertising and marketing is the most important aspect of his business. The
company boasts the strongest advertising coverage in the area. He has sold
hundreds & hundreds of houses, clusters, townhouses & apartments,
specializing in the residential market. Arthur has seen many
agents come and go in the industry and the secret of success, he says, is
continual hard work and positive expectation and zero procrastination. In his
20 years in the industry, Arthur feels property is the safest investment,
provided that you buy in the right area, outperforming returns in the equity

In
October 2012 Arthur’s office expanded and he moved from Devon Valley Centre to
a new office, a block away, on the corner of JG Strijdom Road &
Haak-en-Steek Avenue, to accommodate his growing company.
