This house consists of 5 shareholders. One share is available @R650 000-00.

How it works:

1. Once a year all shareholders get together with the calendar. Each member has a chance to make a pick. The order in which shareholders pick changes each year to ensure that it is fair.
2. Each member gets 9 full weeks a year. The week starts on a Wednesday and the family needs to vacate on Tuesday morning to allow for cleaning and preparation for the new family.
3. All shareholders pay the same monthly levy. Currently that is R2700 per month. This covers the domestic, gardening service, estate costs, insurance, electricity and security.
4. From time to time members agree to a special levy if there are additional things that need to be done at the house or purchased.
5. If a large item breaks then this is split 5 ways. For example, if the microwave has to be replaced.
6. If a member breaks a glass or plates then the member replaces that.
7. The house may not be leased out to anyone else. Members are allowed to take guests with them.
8. Each member has their own code for the alarm so the security knows who is in the house.
