Napier
Located at the foot of the Soetmuisberg Mountains, Napier is a relatively small town that boasts a diverse mixture of historical and modern houses and homes for sale. The region is primarily a farming area, surrounded by sprawling fields of wheat and barley. This means that there are also a variety of smallholdings, vacant land and farms for sale in Napier.
A dominant feature in the town is the illustrious Dutch Reformed Church, which has been declared a national monument. One of the oldest historical buildings in the town is the Feeshuis, which was once used as slave quarters during 1810 to 1820. Other historical testaments are the toy museum, a watermill and a monument to commemorate the Ox-Wagon Trek. Anyone who buys a property for sale in Napier is bound to be spoilt by the lush surroundings and the old world atmosphere.
