South Peninsula
The South Peninsula has a certain historical significance in that it is the first coastline known to be discovered by the early explorers to the African continent. Cape Point has been renowned for centuries as hazardous to ships and the “Cape of Storms” has claimed more than its fair share of victims over the years. In fact, there is a haunting tale about a ship called “The Flying Dutchman” that sank off the coast and is reputedly seen to mysteriously reappear on occasion. There are a number of popular residential areas along the South Peninsula, including Fishhoek Kalk Bay Kommetjie Noordhoek Simonstown and more. SA Hometraders has a number of houses and homes for sale, apartments and flats, cluster homes and townhouses for sale in the South Peninsula area of the Western Cape in South Africa.
