Found in Kwazulu Natal Midlands area, Vryheid literally means freedom and was once the capital of the Nieuwe Republiek, becoming a focal point for the German immigration that still informs the town today. There is much historical significance in Vryheid, with a range of Tudor and Edwardian architecture on display.
