A relatively small town, Bergville is located in the northern Drakensberg region of Kwazulu Natal. Industry here is focused primarily on agriculture, with cattle sales taking place on the third Friday of every month. Bergville’s ideally situated trading centre was first established in 1897 by a retired sea captain and is located less than 50kms from the towering amphitheatre of the Royal Natal National Park.
