Port Alfred Once a sleepy fishing village, Port Alfred lies on the picturesque R72 coastal road in the Eastern Cape and is situated halfway between PE and East London. Found at the mouth of the Kowie River, the area boasts a huge yacht harbour and there are man-made islands and canals that make this a paradise, particularly for those who own boats.
