Located on the Garden Route in the Eastern Cape, Cradock was founded in 1813 and lies on the banks of the Great Fish River. First established by farmers who migrated to the fertile area, Cradock remains a thriving agricultural community today and specializes in the production of wool and mohair. Cattle farming also takes place here, with a number of excellent farms for sale in the outlying areas.
