Wilderness lies on the Western Cape’s Garden Route about 15 kilometres east of George between the Kaaimans River and the Goukamma Nature Reserve.  This part of the Cape is world renowned for its endless stretches of sandy beach, peaceful atmosphere and stunning seaside landscape. 

The Wilderness National Park is 2500 hectares in size and encompasses a multitude of rivers and lakes, two estuaries and 18 kilometres of protected coastline, not to mention the incredible bird and animal life that make this rare and sensitive ecosystem their home.  There are camping facilities available and various cabins that make the perfect holiday retreat for visitors both local and foreign.
