North West Province Property

The North West Province in South Africa is located near the western border with Botswana and Gauteng in the east.  With vast mineral resources, the province also has an established tourist industry and an abundance of agricultural farm land.  Local industry offers plenty of opportunity for development and expansion, with Sol Kerzner’s world famous Sun City adding proof to this fact.

Some of the more well known towns in the region include Rustenburg, Vryburg, Klerksdorp and Hartbeespoort, which houses an enormous dam. There are a number of international companies that have made the North West their home, including BMW, Samsung, Firestone and Tiger Wheels, to name but a few.  A labour force that is both flexible and adaptable in changing times, the relatively low cost of living and the warm temperate climate are just some of the main attractions that the region has to offer. 

Being such a popular tourist destination due to the abundance of wildlife, there are a variety of hotels, game lodges and reserves in the North West.  Other investment opportunities can be found in the food processing and manufacturing industries, the mining and automotive industries, as well as the textile and electronics industries.  Potchefstroom and Mafikeng are two of the region's main towns. With such a beautiful natural landscape, wide-open space and plenty of opportunity, it is no wonder that people love the North West.
