Welcome to our new "How to" Section. In this section we will try to answer all the questions you have been itching to ask as well as give you ideas that will help you to improve the general marketing of your business and properties. How to Create an Email Signature... A signature is a short block of text at the end of an email message with information identifying you and providing additional information about what you are offering. You can think of your signature as passive advertising. It follows you wherever you go on the Internet and quietly and very effectively tells those you meet who you are and what you do - if you are taking advantage of the benefits of a personalized signature. In Outlook Express, you can have multiple signatures (one for work mail and one for private messages, for example). Fortunately, creating signatures is easy. Creating a Signature in Outlook Express: To set up your email signature in Outlook Express: Select Tools | Options... from the menu in Outlook Express. Go to the Signatures tab. Click New. Type the text of your signature under Edit Signature. Try to limit your signature to 4-5 lines of text, and possibly use the standard signature delimiter. This field is for plain text only, but you can also enrich your signature with HTML formatting. Click OK. Click here to read more...

Property Forum - We started a property forum with the intention of providing information and feedback to potential buyers and sellers who visit SAHometraders.co.za. If you are looking for some additional marketing exposure, please make use of this forum to either respond to any queries that may be posted or to make known your product and service offering. Contacts Database - Did you know that the details of anyone enquiring on any of your listings are automatically saved under the buyers section of the contacts database? This fairly new feature allows you to store buyers, sellers and other types of contacts on your SAHometraders agency office.

Commercial Properties / Businesses for Sale - Do you have commercial properties or businesses for sale? You can now load these properties in your agency office and gain valuable exposure for these properties.

Using the internet - If you are using Telkom’s ADSL broadband service, you may have noticed that you are getting 'dropped' frequently, especially when browsing internationally hosted websites like www.sahometraders.co.za. We understand your frustration as this also affects us. If this is happening during loading of property, please keep re-trying as the connection does usually get restored. You may just need to press refresh/ctrl F5 to carry on instead of re-entering the agency office.

When you experience connection problems towards the end of the month, you may have reached your monthly bandwidth cap. You will either need to purchase a booster or use an alternate account to login (I have a separate home account that comes in very useful for this purpose).

Uploading Images – we have now enabled the upload of some new file types after realizing that many of the problems experienced were because of non-compatible formats. You can now upload the following file types: JPG, BMP, PNG, TGA and PCX. Please note that the file size will still affect the time it takes to upload the images. Please ensure that all images are sized to the correct specifications.
