When you login as an agent into the back office. You are required to enter your agency ID and not the agent ID. Thereafter, you enter your Agent Username and Password.

Dear Realty Professional
While the rain, wind and hail has knocked on our front door, we have been beavering away in the basement for the past several months putting the finishing touches to our new look back office. If you don't know what this is or have never seen it, speak to your administrator who manages your on-line listings... They will know. "So how does this affect me and what does it all mean? I just want to sell property!" you may well be asking. The simple answer is, it'll make you life easier we hope. Look for details further in the newsletter.
We are told by those in the know that Interest rates are set to increase again over the next few months. This poses a challenge for all of us in finding smarter ways to make marketing budgets stretch even further. We are continually striving to fine smarter ways of generating leads and attracting more buyers to our portals. Any suggestions welcome.

--1. New Back Office features --
After months of consulting with some of the brightest minds in the property business, we have made some super modifications and fundamental changes to the admin back office. Most of the changes are in the adding and managing of you stock. Besides being able to add and edit more easily, you can now create several reports using filter tools. These reports can also be downloaded in CSV format for use off line.
Several of you eagle eyed operators heave spotted our send brochure tool which allows you to send an HTML formatted brochure along with images and contact details to perspective buyers via email. Now you can send multiple properties to one buyer or one property to multiple buyers or multiple properties to multiple buyers... all at once. Hope you got that. Phew ;-)
Uploading images, especially for the gallery, can be a time consuming task. The gallery upload is more streamlined and allows for the upload of 12 images all at once(loading time will depend on file size).
The all new contacts management system is our first stab at an on-line CRM tool. All your enquiries will automatically be stored here for further use. You can now add and manage your buyers/tenants/investors and more from here. Any suggestions are most welcome.

--2. Updates to the SAHometraders portal --
A pictures is worth a thousand words - You've all heard that saying... and it's true. Getting the most out of your listings on SAHometraders.co.za is often up to you. The listings that get the best response are most often those that have a great main image and several gallery images. Don't just accept your pics the way the come out of the camera, make sure that your pics stand out by first brightening them and enhancing the colour. Most photo editing software that comes with digital cameras these days will have some useful tools for doing this. It really does make a difference. We will be creating a user guide in the coming months. Watch out for that.
Tweaks and updates - We are continually make small but important changes to the web site. Although these updates aren't always evident, they continue to enhance the users experience and provide a better property portal for you. Any suggestions welcome.
--3. Frequently Asked Questions--
Updating Images – (I have left this section here because we are still getting many calls about this) This can be a very frustrating process, even for old hands like our Webmaster. When faced with a non-updating image situation, we have always suggested Ctrl + F5 to refresh the browser cache (the browser stores all images and web pages on the hard drive for faster access to previously visited pages). We have noted that in some cases this has to be done several times to force the new image to load.
