How to Administer Featured Property
Featured property on both the SAHometraders sites as well as our custom designed agency sites enjoy an extreme amount of exposure as it is highly visible and positioned to attract maximum attention. We often get enquiries on how you can get your properties on the featured property list. Read on to find out how it works:
1. Featured Property on SAHometraders / SARental / SACommProp / SADevelopments / SATimeshare / SAFarmtraders
The featured properties on these sites consist of the last properties that were loaded onto our sites. It is important to note that your property will only appear as featured property if it is marked Active in the back office and if it has a main images loaded. Please note that the featured property is also geographically aware, i.e., if a website visitor has browsed to a specific region/area/suburb, the featured property will be filtered to show only listing for that geographic location when they next visit the landing page. So if you are not seeing your recently added property, this may be the cause.
2. Featured Property on Agency Sites
If you own a website designed by SAHometraders, you can pick your featured property as well as the number of featured properties to be displayed. To do so, login to Agency Admin and go to Property Admin. Under List all properties by Agent/Type, select an agent and then be sure to select Detailed Listing. Click Next for the detailed listing to show. Once you have found the property you want to mark as feature property, go to the Action column on the right and click on Featured Property.
Should you want to delete a feature property, login to Agency Admin and scroll down to Feature Property Delete. Here you will be able to select the feature property you want to remove.
There is one more Featured Property settings that you can take advantage of if you have your own agency site designed and hosted by SAHometraders. Email us should you wish to change the amount of featured properties displayed. You can choose if you want 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 properties displayed and we can adjust the size of the images accordingly.
